Chilling: Rabbi Yehoram Ulman After Sydney Attack – “We Must Ascend”
Rabbi Yehoram Ulman, Shliach at the FREE shul in Bondi and the father-in-law of Rabbi Eli Schlanger HY”D, spoke in heartbreaking tears after the Shachris on Monday, following the heinous attack that claimed the life of his son-in-law and fellow community members • Watch
“The victims murdered would tell us not to give in to terror, to a desire to subdue us, crush us, or to destroy us, physically or spiritually. Our answer is to be stronger and stronger and bigger and bigger.” Rabbi Ullman said after Shachris. “We can’t allow terrorists to stifle our life as Jews; all they want to do is to bring us down, to make us despondent, lose hope, but that is not in our lexicon.”
“How can we go forward? How can we continue? We have no choice; we can’t understand why this happened. We must be united as much as possible. Please G-d, those who went will stir up the heavens so strong[ly] that Hashem will send us Moshiach very soon,” Rabbi Ullman concluded.
