Renowned Chabad photographer R’ Meir Alfasi, who has traveled to over a hundred countries and documented extraordinary Jewish moments—most recently in Myanmar—now embarks on another remarkable journey: Bangladesh.
This time, Rabbi Alfasi embarked on an extraordinary journey to Bangladesh—the world’s most densely populated Muslim country.
During his visit, he encountered a local tribe living along the rivers who preserve a fascinating tradition: fishing with the help of trained otters. This ancient technique involves raising the otters as part of the family and training them to work in coordination with the fishermen to catch fish.
