In a remarkable display of Jewish pride and achdus, a group of bochurim traveling home for the summer to their shlichus in the United States via Cyprus transformed their travel route into a journey of impact — putting on Tefillin with over 20 fellow Jews along the way.
What began as a routine travel itinerary quickly turned into an inspiring mission. Despite flight delays and layovers, the bochurim took every opportunity to approach Jewish travelers throughout the journey — at the airport, during transit, and on the plane — offering them the chance to wrap Tefillin, many of them for the first time in years.
The spontaneous outreach created a massive Kiddush Hashem, turning ordinary travel into a chain reaction of mitzvos and Jewish pride across borders and altitudes.
