A perpetrator wanted in regards to a previous slashing was arrested on Monday evening.
The perpetrator was previously arrested for the slashing and released. However, he failed to show up for his court dates and the judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
An alert resident called Crown Heights Shmira after he recognized the perpetrator from the pictures that were published by Shmira last week.
Based on the information provided by the witness, Shmira volunteers were able to locate him and he was promptly placed under arrest by the NYPD.
