On Sunday, the Shmueli family donated a Sefer Torah in memory of their late daughter and sister Mrs. Miriam Shmueli, A”H, a steadfast mechaneches, who taught in Bais Chaya Mushka and Bais Rivkah, and who helped many women as a childbirth doula.
A steadfast mechaneches, Miriam taught in Bais Chaya Mushka and Bais Rivkah and initiated many children’s programs including a unique girl davening program located in 770 to help guide them in their davening by teaching them Biur Tefila and how to follow along with a minyan. The success of this program encouraged schools to follow suit.
The Siyum Sefer Torah took place Sunday afternoon, with writing the final letters and Hakafos in Beis Chayeinu.
