As of May 1st, 2019, United Health Care Community Plan and UHC Child Health Plus have drastically reduced their rates that are paid to physicians in the 5 Boroughs. As a result, many specialists and primary care physicians are no longer accepting the plan.
As of September 1, 2019, our office will no longer be accepting United Health Care Community Plan and UHC Child Health Plus.
So that our patients can continue to be seen at this office and receive the highest quality of care and resources available to them, we are asking you to please switch over to Fidelis Medicaid, Fidelis Child Health Plus, BC/BS Medicaid, and BC/BS Child Health Plus.
To change your insurance please call this number MEDICAID CHOICE 855-355-5777 and inform the representative that you are requesting the change.
We would like to make this transition for our patients as smooth and easy as possible. If for any reason, there is an issue changing your insurance please call us at the office and any of our staff will gladly assist you to the best of our ability.
We will still be accepting patients that have United Healthcare Commercial Plan and Oxford.
