Friends describe him as a young man with a pleasant disposition and refined manners, who always carried a smile and was deeply loved by those around him.

He was known for his Yiras Shomayim and refined Middos. Among the Chassidishe Hanhagos his friends recall was his meticulous care, never to speak while wearing Tefillin.

Recently, he served as a Mashgiach at the Yeshivah in Tzfas. Following his year in the Kvutza, he went on Shlichus to the Chabad Yeshivah in Istra, Russia, where he became especially beloved by the Bochurim, who regarded him as a true example of a Tomim.

On Shabbos, 8 Tishrei, while preparing to leave for Mincha after completing learning his regular Shiurim, he inexplicably slipped on the stairs in his house. He fell, striking his head, and lost consciousness.

Hatzalah and emergency responders who rushed to the scene made desperate attempts to resuscitate him. Tragically, they were forced to determine his passing.

May we merit that the promise, “Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust,” be fulfilled immediately, and that he be among them.
