Rebbetzin Rochel Simpson, wife of Rabbi Sholom Mendel Simpson The Rebbe’s Mazkir and chairman of Merkoz L’Inyonei Chinuch, passed away Shabbos morning. She was 81 years old.
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Sholom Mendel Simpson and her children Rabbi Yossi Simpson (Crown Heights), Mrs. Faigy Wilshansky (Crown Heights), Mrs. Krainy Borenstein (Crown Heights), Rabbi Avremi Simpson (Crown Heights), Rabbi Ari Simpson (Crown Heights), Mrs. Mashie Prager (Crown Heights) and Rabbi Dovid Simpson (Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn).
She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Chana Popack (Crown Heights).
Levaya will take place tomorrow Sunday leaving Shomrei Hadas in Boro Park at 11:00 am and passing by 770 at 11:45 am.
The family is sitting Shiva at 655 Montgomery Street.
Davening Times are; Shacharis: 7:00am, 8:00am, 8:30am, 9:00am. Mincha and Maariv Bizmana.
The family kindly requests that visitors not come after 10:00pm
