We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Rabbi Shlomo Yehuda Vigler, OBM, a beloved father and grandfather, who served as secretary of the Central Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Eretz Yisroel. He passed away on 8 Cheshvan 5784

    He was 72.

Shlomo Yehuda was born on 14 Cheshvan 5711 to his parents R’ Sholom and Chana Mushka Vigler. His mother was an 8th generation descendant of the Alter Rebbe.

He joined the Kevutza group of 5730, which received special treatment from the Rebbe.

When he reached the age of marriage, he got engaged to Mrs. Feiga Tziporah, the daughter of Rabbi Yitzchak Yonah Mendelson. He then joined the secretariat of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Eretz Yisroel, where he worked for a number of decades.

His wife, Tziporah, served as dorm mother for the students of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Lud. She predeceased him following a lengthy illness on 12 Tammuz, 5772.

He is survived by his 12 children who live around Eretz Yisroel.

The Levaya will take place tomorrow, in Lud at 10 AM.

    Baruch Dayan Haemes
