    We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of R’ Moshe Gottlieb, a beloved father and grandfather from Crown Heights and more recently Hillside, NJ. He passed away on Tuesday night, 17 Cheshvan, 5784.

    He was 59.

    R’ Moshe was born and raised in Yerushalayim, after his marriage to Michal (nee Zigelbaum) they settled in Crown Heights, where they lived for 30 years. Recently they moved to Hillside, NJ

    He was known for his Ahavas Yisroel towards everyone. He always had a positive and cheerful attitude.

    He is survived by his wife, Michal and children, Shiffy Goldstein – Hallandale Beach, FL, Shneur Gottlieb – Crown Heights, Riki Gottlieb – Crown Heights, Dini Shechter – Kingston, PA, Sari Gottlieb – Hillside, NJ and Mendy Gottlieb – Hillside, NJ.

    He is also survived by his siblings, Meir Gottlieb – Flatbush, NY, Lieba Shtissel – Ashdod, Eretz Yisroel, Chaim Gottlieb – Beitar, Eretz Yisroel, Shimon Gottlieb – Crown Heights, Velvel Gottlieb – Yerushalayim, Eretz Yisroel, Sholom Gottlieb – Nikolayiv, Ukraine, Leah Rabinowitz – Beitar, Eretz Yisroel, Chanie Donin – Migdal Ha’emek, Eretz Yisroel, and Esti Scheiner – Beitar, Eretz Yisroel.

    The Levaya will take place on Thursday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 11:00 am and passing by 770 at 12:00 pm.
    Kevura will take place at Montefiore Cemetery at 1pm.
