We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of R’ Gavriel Chaim Elbaz, who was tragically killed in a serious car accident.
He was 52 years old.
Gavriel served as Gabbai of the Chabad house, in the Ramat neighborhood of Be’er Sheva, under the direction of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Slavin. And was a pillar of the community.
At the Chabad house he served, the news hit hard. “He was the heart of the Chabad house,” a community member said sadly.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
