We are saddened to report on the passing of Mrs. Sima Okunov OBM, a Crown Heights resident. She passed away on Wednesday, the 20th of Kislev, 5783.
She was 103 years old.
She was the sister of Rabbi Dovid Okunov HY”D, who was killed Al Kiddush Hashem on the streets of Crown Heights.
She is survived by her daughters Tzila Burmistrovich – Israel; Frida Efros – Crown Heights; Sofa Burmistrovich – Crown Heights; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will pass 770 at 1:30pm today before burial at Old Montefiore Cemetery.
