With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Raiza Farber, OB”M, she passed away on Monday, 7 Nissan. She was 84-years-old.

She was a single mother who lost her husband about 50 years ago, but raised two children, instilling yidishkeit in them. She was a chef and cook, who worked for many years cook in the home of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe.

She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Leah Poltorak of Monsey, NY and Sarah Babayoff of Detroit, MI.

The levaya will take place today, Monday, in Montefiore Cemetery at approximately 6:30 pm.
