The levaya of Mrs. Genia Morosow, a beloved mother of Crown Heights, who also served as a sheitel macher in the community past through Crown Heights today on its way from Shomrei Hadas Memorial Chapel on its way to Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens • Photos
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Mendel Marosow and their children Chony Marosow and Chana Marosow.
She is also survived by her mother Mrs. Tamar Hilel, and siblings Mendel Hilel – Montreal, Canada; Rochi Leverton-Rotenstreich – Crown Heights; Saadi Hilel – Hollywood, Florida; and Sarit Vogel – London, England.
The family requests that her mother, Mrs. Hilel, not be notified.
The levaya will be held on Thursday, leaving Shomrei Hadas Chapels at 11:00 AM and passing by 770 at 12:00 PM.
The family will be sitting shiva at 762 Empire Blvd (corner of Troy Ave) #5F.
