Hundreds of past and current Ohloei Torah Mesivta students, Anash and Temimim attended the Levaya Rabbi Eliyahu Tenenbaum, a dedicated teacher of Oholei Torah for over 50 years and a resident of Crown Heights, as it passed by 770 and Oholei Torah, then on to the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Queens.
Rabbi Tenenbaum served as a long-time Maggid Shiur and Meishiv at Oholei Torah Mesivta, educating many bochurim for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Chaye Sarah Tenenebam – Crown Heights, their children Levi Tenenbaum – Melbourne, Australia; Shlomie Tenenbaum – Crown Heights; Seema Tenenbaum – Crown Heights; Rochel Leah Banon – Crown Heights; Dovid Tenenbaum – S. Monica, California, and many grandchildren and a great-grandson.
The family will be sitting Shiva at the Tenenbaum residence – 689 Montgomery Street.
