We are deeply saddened to report on the passing of Dr. Howard Saul, OBM, who was a member of the Chabad community in Cherry Hill, NJ, was tragically found deceased after he went scuba diving off the coast of Hollywood Beach, Florida
He was 67 years old.
Dr. Saul was Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology. He was treating women with gynecologic cancer in South Jersey for around 20 years and has been involved in many pioneering cancer treatment studies.
Around a year ago, Dr. Saul retired and moved to Florida.
Chesed Shel Emes of Florida is on the scene working to ensure proper Kavod Hames.
The Coast Guard stated earlier they were searching for him via choppers and boats. He was diving in the area in the vicinity of Hollywood Beach.
Hatzalah of South Florida was on the scene assisting local and federal emergency personnel.
He is survived by his wife Gail and children Rochel Brooker and Michael Saul, and grandchildren.
