Mrs. Chana Chaya Marasow, OB”M, a long-time member of the Lubavitch community in Montreal, Canada, passed away on Thursday, 27 Nissan 5775, She was 77.
She is survived by her children Mrs. Devorah Wolosow, Mrs. Rivka Baumgarten, both of Crown Heights, Mrs. Nechama Perlstein, Mrs. Mally Ehrentrei, R’ Yossel Marasow and R’Mendel Marasow, all of Montreal; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Mrs. Eta Jurkowitz of Montreal.
The Levaya took place on Thursday.
Shivah is taking place at 5894 Trans Island, Montreal, Quebec. Mrs. Wolosow and Baumgarten will be sitting Shiva in New York on Tuesday at 1577 Union (between Albany and Troy).
