The final letters of the ninth Sefer Torah of the Children of Israel have been purchased, marking the completion of a massive campaign that inspired Anash and Chassidim around the world to register thousands of Jewish children in the Rebbe’s Sefer Torah project.
In a remarkable surge of participation, 17,437 letters were purchased during the past month alone, bringing the ninth Sefer Torah to completion.
Organizers expressed gratitude for the tremendous response and noted that work has already begun on the tenth Children’s Sefer Torah, encouraging Anash and Bochurim to continue registering children and participating in this special initiative established by the Rebbe.
The historic Hachnosas Sefer Torah for the ninth Sefer Torah is scheduled to take place, b’ezras Hashem, on Chof Av at the Kosel in Yerushalayim Ir Hakodesh. The celebration is expected to draw Rabbonim, Mashpi’im, Anash, and thousands of Jews from across Eretz Yisroel.
Established at the Rebbe’s direction, the Children’s Sefer Torah project unites Jewish children around the world through the purchase of letters in a communal Sefer Torah, strengthening Jewish unity and serving as a powerful source of blessing and protection for Klal Yisroel.
As the ninth Sefer Torah reaches completion and work begins on the tenth, Chassidim worldwide are preparing for what promises to be a historic and uplifting celebration.
