Lubavitch: Shluchim Carve Mikvah in Frozen River
In a remarkable scene shared this week, Shliach of the Rebbe in Rostov, Rabbi Chaim Danziger, documented how Shluchim traveled to the historic town of Lubavitch and carved out a Mikvah in a frozen river so they could immerse, despite temperatures plunging to nearly minus 40 degrees. The river, which was used as a mikvah by Lubavitcher Chassidim for generations, had frozen over in the extreme winter conditions.
