“There are nights when I cannot fall asleep. The voices of these boys, the sweet souls I meet every day, simply don’t let me rest,” Rabbi Sandroy shares.
According to him, “This creation is not just a song – it is a cry for truth. It tells the story of a boy who goes through great pain, through frameworks that did not always understand him, until the moment he discovers the good within himself and breaks forward.”
“These are the ones who are seemingly ‘disconnected,’ yet today they are the first to throw themselves into the furnace of fire for the sake of the Jewish people. All they need is one moment of kindness, one moment of faith in the righteousness of their path.”
“I wrote and composed this for them – and for us as well, the parents and the educators. Let’s change the mindset,” he adds.
