Groups of Chassidim from Israel, the United States, and Shluchim from across Ukraine made long journeys, with international visitors facing 12-hour drives due to closed airports.
The Ohel’s guest complex hosted farbrengens and Shiurei Chassidus led by Shluchim from Israel and abroad, including Rabbi Mendel Foigel, Rabbi Naftali Arngler, and Rabbi Zalman Landa. A large group of Poilisher Chassidim, joined the Farbrengens and Shiurim.
Guests were hosted in hundreds of rooms across the ‘Alter Rebbe Complex,’ enjoying meals and farbrengens around the clock under the supervision of Rabbi Shneur Zalman Deitsch, Shliach and Rav of Haditch, with support from donor Rabbi David Darli. This Hilula also marked the first time in over a century that Kohanim could approach the Ohel, following the inauguration of the $1 million Kohanim Bridge last Elul.
The annual fundraising campaign to maintain the Ohel, light the Ner Tamid, and support the guest complex saw contributions from over 1,200 donors worldwide, with additional donations still arriving. Rabbi Deitsch noted, “The Ohel is active with the local community 365 days a year. Supporting these activities illuminates Jewish life in the region and honors the Alter Rebbe’s Ohel.”
