The Prime Minister and his delegation were welcomed by the community’s shliach and rav, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Lipskar, who continues the lifelong shlichus and legacy of his father, the late Rabbi Sholom Dovber Lipskar, of blessed memory.
Rabbi Lipskar received the Prime Minister with great honor, noting the special timing of the visit, which took place shortly after Prime Minister Netanyahu’s historic and high-profile meeting this week with President Donald Trump.
Netanyahu chose to visit the synagogue as a spiritual anchor point, highlighting the role of a Chabad House and Shul that has for decades been dedicated to strengthening Jewish life and fostering Jewish unity.
In his brief remarks to those present, the Prime Minister addressed the challenges of the current period and Israel’s response since the Simchas Torah massacre. He spoke about the strength Israel has demonstrated against its enemies, its determination and operational capabilities, and emphasized that siyata d’Shmaya, the courage of IDF soldiers, and the unity of the Jewish people are central pillars of the nation’s resilience.
Netanyahu added that on the diplomatic front as well, Israel will continue striving to strengthen regional alliances and expand circles of “peace for peace,” while steadfastly safeguarding its security and national strength.
The event was attended by shluchim of the Rebbe, leaders of Jewish organizations, business figures from the Miami Jewish community, and a large audience.
