The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Thank G-D, his injuries are not life-threatening.

This incident comes amid a troubling rise in antisemitic attacks, following closely on the heels of an assault targeting Chabad bochurim on the New York City subway just one night earlier.

In response to the recent incidents, the administration of the Central Tomchei Temimim Yeshivah – 770 issued safety guidelines to students, emphasizing the importance of vigilance during Chanukah Mivtzoim. The message stressed the dual responsibility to continue spreading light, particularly during Chanukah, while also exercising caution and adhering to basic safety practices, including traveling in groups, avoiding confrontation, and promptly reporting suspicious or threatening behavior to security or law enforcement.

Community leaders continue to call for increased awareness and protection, as Chabad chassidim remain committed to their mission of bringing light in the face of darkness.
