Growing Yitzhar Community Completes Major Chabad Shul Extension
A joyous milestone was celebrated this week in the Chabad community of Yitzhar with the completion of an extensive renovation and expansion project at the local Chabad shul. The renovations included a full refurbishment of the existing structure, the expansion of the main Shul, the addition of new seating, upgraded air-conditioning systems, and the installation of modern lighting. The interior was also redesigned with a touch of Chassidic elegance, giving the shul a renewed atmosphere of warmth and beauty.
The project was spearheaded by the dedicated Gabbai’im, R. Moshe Gurevitz and R. Binyahu Amrani, whose tireless efforts ensured that every detail was carried out to perfection.
Community members expressed deep gratitude to the generous donors and supporters who contributed both financially and physically to the endeavor, helping transform the vision into reality.
Leaders noted that the expanded shul is not only a physical upgrade, but also a major step forward in strengthening and developing the life of the Chabad community in Yitzhar, alongside the continued growth of its educational institutions and Shlichus activities.
