Miracle in Kherson: Shliach’s Car Struck by Drone — All Occupants Unharmed
A miraculous escape was in Kherson, Ukraine, where the car of the city’s Chief Rabbi and Chabad Shliach, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Wolf, was directly struck by a drone • Full Story, Watch
The attack occurred while the vehicle was in motion. The car sustained major damage, with the front taking the full impact of the explosive drone strike. Incredibly, Rabbi Wolf and his family, who were inside the vehicle at the time, emerged completely unharmed.
Police forces arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and began investigating the strike.
Rabbi Wolf immediately reported the incident to JRNU, Chabad’s emergency network in Ukraine, with which he maintains constant contact.
“Give thanks to Hashem, for He is good, for His kindness is everlasting! It was a clear open miracle that we are alive,” Rabbi Wolf said. “We were on our way to Kherson, about a kilometer and a half before the military checkpoint at the city’s entrance, when a suicide drone exploded directly on us.”
“My wife Chaya, my daughter Raizy, and I are all healthy and unharmed. Thank You, Hashem, for this incredible gift — the gift of life.”
