Israel’s Minister of Heritage and Jerusalem Affairs, Amichai Eliyahu of the Otzma Yehudit party, started off his US tour with a visit to Beis Chayeinu-770 and Crown Heights.
During the visit, the minister recalled the special relationship of his grandfather, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu zt’l, with the Rebbe. At the end of the visit in 770 a video of the meetings of Rabbi Eliyahu and the Rebbe were screened.
During the day, the Minister visited the Rebbe’s library, the JCM and Oholei Torah Zal where he learned and talked with the Bochurim.
