With great sadness we inform you of the sudden and untimely passing of Mr. Reuvain (Ron) Tatarka, OB”M, a members, supporter and pillar of the Chabad community in Melbourne. He passed away on Shabbos, 19 Teves, at the age of 58-years-old.
Mr. Tatarka was known for his generosity and support for the Chabad community, as well as a supporter of many Jewish causes around the world. He also founded the local Camp Gan Israel of Melbourne and served as its director for many years.
He is survived by his wife Sarale (nee Althaus) and children Avi, Leah, Shmuly, Eli, Chaya and Dina.
He is also survived by his siblings Shimshon (Sam) Tatarka and Rosaline Tatarka.

We just called Mrs. Tararka and comforted her.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Ron’s sudden death.
His caring and generous nature will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
