The first thing the Rebbe Rayatz did after coming off the boat on 9 Adar 5700 (1940), was to replant Tomchei Tmimim in America. It began with a group of bachurim learning at the Oneg Shabbos Shul in East Flatbush and quickly spread out to tens of branches all over the American continent.
