An American court has rejected an appeal by the Russian government, upholding a court ruling that Russia must return thousands of books to the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. The thousands books which sit at the heart of the dispute are mainly found in the Lenin Library, in Moscow; and cataloged as the Schneerson Collection • Full Story
Photographer Dov Ber Hechtman recently entered the display hall on 770’s third floor to photograph some of the most precious items in Lubavitch, amongst them the Frierdiker Rebbe‘s shtreimel and kisvei yad from all of the Rebbeim. The room is open to all, yet not everybody has a chance to go and view the priceless items contained inside.
