The demonstration coincided with a Hachnasas Sefer Torah that was taking place outside 770, as a newly completed Torah scroll was being brought into the building in memory of Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Kotlarsky, ע”ה. The contrast between the joyous procession and the nearby protest highlighted the resilience and unity of the Jewish community in the face of hostility.
