Earlier today, Bochurim of the Central Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim started learning inside 770, for the first time since 770 has been closed to the Temimim due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Over the past two and half months, the Bochurim have been studying in other locations, including the courtyard of 770, and in their private rooms.
The dorm at 1414 President Street has been closed since about two and half months ago, and the Bochurim that were living there have had to find new places to stay. However, some of the other dorms have stayed open throughout this crisis.
The dining room was closed right at the start and the Bochurim have been eating individually in their rooms. As we have reported at great length, initially the kitchen was closed as well but after much back and forth, the kitchen was finally reopened after over a week of being closed.
There were a number of restrictions in place today regarding the number of Bochurim allowed in, and how far they have to sit away from each other.
