Belev Echad is a special organization committed to building a community of kindness around veterans of the IDF and their families living in New York City and in Israel. Foundeded by Manhattan Shluchim Rabbi Uriel and Mrs. Shevy Vigler, their programs aim to alleviate the extraordinary physical and emotional toll of military service through educational, social, financial and cultural support.

The organization, which organizes annual trips to New York for IDF soldiers who were wounded in combat, brought the group to Crwon Heights and 770 for an intense spiritual experience they will likely never forget.

Over the previous week and a half the soldiers toured around New York City, seeing many famous sights including the Statue of Liberty and the New York Stock Exchange.

Led by well known tour guide Bentzi Sasson, the group concluded a packed trip with a meaningful visit to the Rebbe’s Schunah, as well as the Ohel.

The group toured 770, including the famous WLCC office upstairs. They davened and danced in the big shul with the Temimim who were there to greet them with Tefillin ready to wrap.

It is well known the Rebbe’s affinity for wounded IDF soldiers. Many know of the famous Yechidus Klolis where the Rebbe stood up and walked around the room himself, handing the soldiers seated in the big shul dollars one by one.
