It’s not my thing to write about politics, but this current situation, we all acknowledge, goes beyond politics. I believe it is a moral obligation for anyone and everyone to speak with clarity when the world is so twisted with hatred, deception, and gross hypocrisy. There are so many voices out there trying to strengthen the voice of clarity; I will add my own.

Here are some points to consider:

When the terrorists bargain 1027 terrorists for Gilad Shalit, they need to understand that the price tag works both ways. If you are only willing to sell me your car for 1027.00 dollars, and that’s what I pay for it, and then you come and steal and destroy that car, you should be expected to pay at the very least that price for destroying my car, besides any other fines for your crime and the trouble you are now putting me through.

These terrorists understand the value we place on our soldiers and every single individual human being, and that is why they are always so desperately intent on snatching an Israeli soldier. The same world that approves and watches us pay for Gilad Shalit what we did must understand the catastrophic loss and pain that cruelly murdering 1400 people means to us.

The same leaders who are right now killing human beings in the hundreds of thousands indiscriminately have the chutzpa to preach to Israel morality and sensitivity for human life?

I watched a debate with Ben Shapiro at Oxford University, and the degree to which the students were ignorant, disrespectful, unwilling to hear facts, actually intentionally ignoring and twisting the facts, and just not communicating in a logical, intelligent manner is appalling and an embarrassment to the university and its student-faculty. I noticed most comments on YouTube expressed the same or similar sentiments.

If there is a disproportion in the Israel-Gaza war, it’s the fact that news outlets and the world focus on a ceasefire (absolutely crazy) and the loss of innocent lives in Gaza.

How many world leaders are pushing for the immediate release of innocent Hostages??  Or, at the very least, for the Red Cross to be allowed to visit them and see that they are not being tortured? How many protestors and world leaders are concerned for the hundreds and thousands of Israelis displaced because of this war brought upon them by savages?

How many votes were taken in the UN to immediately bring to task the leaders of Hamas who perpetrated the heinous massacre of October 7th? How many votes or voices protest the ongoing barrage of missiles sent into Israel indiscriminately from Gaza and South Lebanon?

The average person protesting Israel’s actions is either ignorant of the true nature of who the Hamas people are and/or intentionally hateful of the Jewish people and exhibits the hypocrisies I mention above.

The Rebbe, mentioned many times. Because of all these hypocrisies and hatred in people, we, the Jewish people, must do what we have to do to save our skin and not concern ourselves with “WORLD” opinions. We must do the job ENTIRELY to the end of what is necessary and not cave into the foolish, twisted “world” pressures.

It doesn’t matter, God forbid, when you are dead what world opinion is. The right thing, according to the Torah and anyone rational, is “if someone is coming to kill you, kill him first.” We don’t need to explain ourselves. This is how anyone who is normal and responsible behaves. This is how ALL countries in the world operate. Anyone who criticizes Israel for the way they are responding to their existential threat and barbaric murders perpetrated upon us must not be regarded as rational and well-balanced and should not be taken seriously.

    The world respects strength.

When Israel, with the help of God, succeeds in eliminating these evil elements from the face of this earth, the world will respect Israel for its success and its strength and say that Israel did the job of eliminating this threat not just for Israel but for the Arabs themselves, whom the Hamas brutalize. The world will thank us for stopping another evil Isis from the face of this planet.

Jewish people know we survive and depend on miracles for our existence. The reason why, even after so many years that we have been persecuted by great empires that are all extinct and the Jewish people survive and thrive is ONLY because of God’s promise to us: “I will never change you for another people.”

“They go with chariots and others with horses, but we proclaim the name of God Almighty.” “The voice is the voice of Jacob, and the hands are the hands of Esau.”  The strength of the Jewish people is in their voice of prayer and the study of the Torah. The extra spiritual strength produced by the good deeds that everyone and everyone does contributes to the success of our brave soldiers.

“If God doesn’t watch the city, in vain does the watchman gaze.”

Our well-being and success are entirely in His hands. Sure, we must act, and we must see that our army and soldiers are strong and provided with all they need to succeed. Still, success comes only because and when God so desires. We can hasten that success and God’s desire to see us victorious by adding more Mitzvot on behalf of our dear brothers and sisters, sons, and daughters fighting out there for each of us.

Put on the Teffilin. Light the Shabbat Candles. Be more careful with keeping Kosher. Put up Mezuzot or choose anything you can add to our combined spiritual strength and connection with God Almighty. If we do what God asks us to do, He promises to do what we ask and need Him to do for us.

Don’t give any attention to all the foolish talk out there. Let us stay focused on our mission, and with the help of the All-Merciful God, we will succeed very soon.

      Yes, so well expressed.

Let all Jews around the world unite and proclaim the truth that the land of Israel is ours because G-d gave it to us, and gave us His Torah to keep to the extent possible before the geulah is complete.

We must eradicate Amalek for good, appoint the king, Melech HaMoshiach, and build the Beis HaMikdash.

The Rebbe said our shlichus now is kabbolos hamalchus. The Rebbe is ready to redeem us, but not in a forced way. True leadership is not imposed.

May we witness the revelation of Moshiach, sitting in his palace, with all of us finally able to keep all the mitzvos of the Torah, with the nations of the world serving us.
