Barbecue for the Soldiers & Police of the Old City at the top of the Kosel in Yerushalayim facing the place of the Bais Hamikdash with special Mi Shebarach by world renowned Cantor Dovid Caytak.
Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz & Rabbi Peretz Meir Simcha Minkowicz of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida hosted a Solidarity Mission to Israel together with their community members Bob & Taryn.
Tehilim chapter 137 that we recite before Grace after meals during the week says אם לא אעלה את ירושלים על ראש שמחתי the importance of constantly remembering Yerushalayim.
To Remember Yerushalayim, A Barbecue with live Music was arranged for all the Soldiers protecting the Old City of Yerushalayim on top of the Kosel facing the place of the Bais Hamikdash.
World renowned Cantor Dovid Caytak sang the moving & Powerful Mi Sheberach for Soldiers to be successful in their Mission.
After the Barbecue the chief of police of the Old City invited Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz, Rabbi Peretz Meir Simcha Minkowicz, Bob, Taryn & Cantor Dovid Caytak to his office which sits right above the Kotel & thanked them for their support for the soldiers and said the Barbecue, the Music & the Mi Sheberach gives the Police & soldiers lots of Chizuk to do what they are doing.
Let’s hope & pray for the revelation of Moshiach & as the Rebbe explained in Shabbas Parsha Shoftim תשנ״א that when Moshiach will be revealed the we will not need Shotrim that is why it is not mentioned in the verse in Isiah ואשיבה שופטיך כבראשונה and the Shoftim will switch roles to be Teachers.
