About 30 launches were detected and at least 10 of them were intercepted, and alarms were activated in Kiryat Shmona, Beit Hillel and Kfar Blum. One fall was located in Kfar Blum.

The IDF estimates that the barrage was fired in response to the attack in southern Lebanon this evening in which, according to reports, 3 people were killed.
At the same time as the interceptions and launches, residents in the north received recorded “threat messages”. In one of the messages, the residents received an order to flee. “You must convert all your possessions and goods into money and get out of Safed, otherwise you will be prey for rats.” In addition, frightened residents spread the videos among themselves and expressed concern about the situation, especially in areas where classes will be held tomorrow: “In a few hours they are supposed to go to school.”
