Volunteers Strengthen Jewish Spirit: A Summer of Support, Solidarity, and Miracles

Minkowicz Brothers and Their Families Volunteer in Israel for Two Weeks, Supporting Deserted Vineyards and Uplifting Israeli Soldiers with Teffilin, Hot Lunches, and Barbecues • Full Story, Photos

Rabbi Yitzchok Minkowicz & Assistant Rabbi Meir Simcha Minkowicz of Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida & th Chabadswf.org/Israelfund together with his Brother Rabbi Sholom Minkowicz Successful Businessman & Huge Bal Chesed of Crown Heights & his Wife Chana Zelda together with their Families spent two weeks of their summer Volunteering in Israel on the Deserted Vineyards & Bringing Chizuk to the Israeli Soldiers with Mitzvah Teffilin & Hot Lunches & Barbecues.

At one of the Barbecues we celebrated Rabbi Sholom’s Birthday the soldiers elevated him on a chair & danced with him his Wife a Huge Balas Chesed Donated many new helmets to the Soldiers in honor of her Husband Sholom’s Birthday.

There is a huge need to volunteer on the farms as many of the Farmers unfortunately were killed or taken hostage & many are in the Army.

We visited the Kerem Shalom Border where Soldiers enter into Gaza & provided them with Hot Lunches, Drinks & much needed Chizuk.

Much of the Trip was with the encouragement of Habochor Hatamim Getzel Minkowicz who just wanted to do as much as Mivtziom as Possible.

We went to the Morgue. To support the Rabbis & Soldiers that have to deal with the pain of taking care of so many dead bodies of soldiers & civilians.

While we were at the Morgue a Family came to identify the Body of a loved soldier that was just killed. The pain was raw & beyond any pain one can experience.

We went to the Israeli Navy & hosted a Barbecue with live Music to support the Soldiers fighting from the waters.

We visited the Kibutzim & cities such as Ofakim that were attacked on 10/7 met the Survivors & gave them Moral Support.

Our last event was by the Police Headquarters in Jerusalem on top of the Kotel facing the Temple Mount to give Support & sponsor projects to Support the morale of the police.

The Soldiers that we visited were so appreciative of our Support as they say people stopped visiting them.

We would encourage you all to go to Israel to Volunteer & support the soldiers.

E. Focus on the Miracles!!!

To finish off as Dean the spokesman for the Israeli Police shared with me.

Yes we are a nation that has suffered & still suffering. However there a lot of Miracles that have happened & still happening.

To name a few:

The miracle of all those that were not killed on 10/7

The miracle of Iran’s failed attack on Israel.

The miracle of Israel’s preemptive strike against hezbalah.

The Resilience that the Jewish people have.

Irrelevant of what happens we Have Faith & Trust in G-D we stand up & continue living a happy life.
