Ohio: Cincinnati Proclaims Yud Aleph Nissan Education Day In The State

While 11 Adar Sheini is the day of Taanis Esther this year, it is also “shloshim Yom Lifnei Hachag – 30 days before 11 Nissan”. In preparation for this special day, Rabbi Gershon Avtzon, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati, went to City Hall to have Mayor Aftab Puravel sign the proclamation that designates Yud Alef Nissan as “Education and Sharing Day” in Cincinnati.
Rabbi Avtzon also reached out to the office of Ohio Governor Mike Dewine, who also signed the proclamation for the entire state. Both of these proclamations will be displayed in the lobby of the Yeshiva.
