On Sunday night, Yeshiva Torah Ohr, Bais Menachem of North Miami Beach, and Congregation Magen Dovid hosted a farbrengen to celebrate the liberation of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
Rabbi Avrohom Korf, shliach of the Rebbe for over 60 years and a talmid in the Friedker Rebbe’s underground cheder opened the evening stressing the message of the Frierdiker Rebbe that only our bodies went into golus, but not our souls.
The farbrengen continued on with Rabbi Shlomo Kaplan, Maagid Shiur in Oholei Torah Zal and Mashpia in 770 who told over the story of the liberation and elegantly brought down lofty matters of chassidus and made them pertinent to the large audience.
The farbrengen lasted to the wee hours of the morning and brought inspiration to the many who were in attendance in person and to the thousands of viewers online who tuned in.
