Tzivos Hashem International, the largest Jewish Children’s organization is now accepting nominations for its 5th annual Power of Jewish Children award, where the winners will receive a cash prize, a donation to a charity of their choice, and additional valuable prizes.
Winners will be flown to New York to be a part of Tzivos Hashem’s annual Gala at the Grand Prospect Hall on December 8th, 2014, hosted by Joel Chasnoff and featuring a live award ceremony and a concert by Benny Friedman.
The award highlights the power Jewish children have to impact their respective communities and recognize their outstanding achievements. Nominations are open to all children under fourteen years of age who have impacted other individuals or their community, whether by participating in existing programs or developing their own.
Formerly “Jewish Kids Got Talent,” the event has featured incredibly talented children from across the globe. “You never know what to expect,” says Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson, Executive Director of Tzivos Hashem, the foremost worldwide organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of Jewish children. “The capabilities and accomplishments of the nominees get better every year. Whenever I think I’ve seen it all, another kid comes along and blows my mind.”
“To me, this is not just another concert,” said singer Benny Friedman. “It’s an honor to perform alongside these children; to be a witness and to pay tribute to children who will not only shape our future, but are effecting positive change today.”
Nominations must be submitted by November 18, through an easy application process at www.powerofjewishchildren.com. The award ceremony, Gala dinner and concert on December 8 will be streamed live. Winners will be announced on November 20th on our website.
