In the wake of the devastating earthquake that shook Kathmandu, Nepal, over 1,800 have been reported dead, tens of thousands injured and countless more missing due to breakdowns in communications or worse. Among those missing are two Lubavitchers from Crown Heights.

Danny Cole, a father of four from Crown Heights and Mendy Losh, originally from Crown Heights and recently a resident of Los Angeles, were hiking in the area when the earthquake hit. Their families have not been able to get in touch with them since.

Until this ordeal is confirmed to be over, for these two and countless others, the public is asked to say Tehillim in the merit of the missing and the hurt.

Saturday night, one of their family members said she spoke to tour guide company, who said they had communicated with them and they are fine.

However on Sunday morning, the company told Danny’s wife Elki Cole that they haven’t spoken to anyone from their group yet, and they are still searching.

Please say tehillim for their safe return.
