Two respected yungeleit have been appointed to the hanhala of Suffield Yeshiva for the upcoming year, adding to its already strong team of maggidei shiur and mashpi’im.
The first is Rabbi Mendel Krasnianski of Manhattan, a renowned maggid shiur known for his clarity, depth, and broad mastery of Torah. His popular shiurim span topics such as in-depth Gemara L’Iyun, Rambam, Inyonei Geulah u’Moshiach, and Chassidus.
The second is Rabbi Shuki Avtzon of Crown Heights (son of R’ Yonah a”h), who previously served as a mashpia in the New Haven Mesivta, where he earned a strong rapport with the bochurim and left a lasting impact.
They join a dedicated hanhala that includes Rosh Yeshiva and Menahel Rabbi Bentzion Bluming, Menahel of Mesivta and maggid shiur Rabbi Menachem Fogelman; maggidei shiur Rabbis Avrohom Wolf, Yosef Greenbaum, Sholom Ber Kirsh, Zalman Butman, and Yanki Krasnianski; and mashpi’im Rabbis Mendel Sorkin, Shneur Shapiro, and Mendel Eidelman. The yeshiva is further supported by menahel gashmi Rabbi Nissen Eichorn, master chef Rabbi Daniel Arroyo; and a dynamic group of Shluchim and Eltere Bochurim who contribute to the warm, chassidishe atmosphere.
Suffield Yeshiva’s two divisions — Mesivta and Yeshiva Gedolah — offer a structured, chassidishe environment where each talmid is individually guided to deepen his understanding of Gemara, Halacha, and Chassidus. Rooted in simcha and dedication to avodas Hashem, the Yeshiva carries forward the values and vision of the Rebbeim, founders of Tomchei Temimim.
“We’re proud to welcome these new hanhala members, who bring the experience and clarity needed to guide today’s bochurim in their learning and avodas Hashem,” says Rosh Yeshiva and Menahel Rabbi Bentzion Bluming.
“They’ll further enrich the incredible environment our bochurim already experience — an authentic Lubavitch Tomchei Tmimim, with rigorous learning, personal hadracha, and the chassidishe warmth every bochur needs to thrive,” he adds.
