President Donald Trump “fully supports” Israel’s military actions in Gaza, White House Press Secretary confirmed Tuesday. She stated that Israel consulted the U.S. before launching the strikes and reiterated Trump’s warning that “all hell will break loose” if Hamas refuses to release hostages.
Following a series of targeted airstrikes, the IDF and ISA eliminated Rashid Jahjuh, head of Hamas’ General Security Forces, and Ayman Atsalih, the leader of Hamas’ Khan Yunis sector. The operation also took out Ismail Abd al-Aal, a key figure in Islamic Jihad’s weapons smuggling network.
Hamas’ General Security Forces, formerly led by Jahjuh, is responsible for protecting Hamas leaders, suppressing opposition, and coordinating intelligence for terrorist activities. Meanwhile, al-Aal oversaw the smuggling of weapons into Gaza for Islamic Jihad.
