Traveling Shochet Presents New Sefer to Rishon LeTzion

At a warm meeting held on Tuesday, Rabbi Eliahu Shlomo Ezagui — a well-known “traveling shochet” and activist in the field of kashrus — met with the Rishon LeTzion, Rabbi David Yosef.
During the meeting, Rabbi Ezagui presented Rabbi Yosef with a copy of his forthcoming book, yet to be published, Eish Tamid, seeking the blessing of the Rishon LeTzion.
Rabbi Ezagui, widely recognized for his extensive efforts to strengthen the standards of shechita around the world, came to meet with Rabbi Yosef in order to reinforce the bond between Chabad shluchim worldwide and Sephardic Jewry, and to discuss matters relating to halacha and shechita.
Eish Tamid is a work that contains a collection of Torah insights on various halachic principles, as well as in-depth discussions on the laws of Shechita. Rabbi Ezagui wrote the book in fulfillment of The Rebbe’s directive to publish and disseminate one’s Torah insights.
Rabbi David Yosef, one of the most prominent rabbinic leaders in Israel, expressed his deep appreciation to Rabbi Ezagui for his efforts and his contributions to strengthening Kashrus and Halacha.
