Yeshivas Lubavitch Oholei Menachem Mendel, Toronto, CA is launching a CHARIDY campaign, aiming to raise $120,000 for the Yeshiva.
The Yeshiva, which is now entering its 20th year B”H, has educated thousands of bochurim to the highest standards of learning and yiras shomayim, and now boasts alumni across the globe in positions of leadership and serving as pillars of their community.
The campaign is a 24 hour challenge, starting 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 22, until 3:00 pm on Friday, October 23.
Yeshivas Lubavitch, Toronto was originally established by the Rebbe in 5717. Exactly 40 years later, in 5757, it was re-opened by Rabbi Yona Shur and a group of anash and shluchim, with Rabbi Akiva Wagner serving as Rosh Yeshiva. “Since then”, observed Rabbi Wagner, “the constant growth and incredible success has been nothing short of miraculous. Over the past two decades, the landscape of Jewish Toronto and beyond has been indelibly marked by the presence of the bochurim”. But the Yeshiva urgently needs funds, to be able to accommodate all of the applicants who turn to them.
This is an unprecedented opportunity in which everyone can play a part in this important endeavor, and know that every single donation, large or small, is making a real difference.
Whether you, your son, grandson, friend or relative learned in Toronto, now is your chance to give back.
All donations during these 24 hours will be QUADRUPLED thanks to generous matching donations. However, if the campaign does not meet the goal within 24 hours, NONE of the pledges are processed or collected.
