Toddler Rescued After Falling Into Deep Pit During Family Hike in Modiin
A two-year-old child was successfully rescued on Wednesday after falling into a four-meter-deep pit during a family hike at Giv’at HaTitora, a popular nature site in Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut • Full Story, Watch
According to emergency responders, the child was walking with family members when he suddenly lost his balance and fell into the hole. United Hatzalah paramedics were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, Avi Dablinger, head of United Hatzalah’s Modiin branch, entered the pit and successfully retrieved the child.
The toddler was fully conscious and in stable condition when he was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. Footage from the scene shows the swift and coordinated efforts of the rescue team, ensuring a successful outcome.
