Throughout Tisha B’Av, Yidden gathered at shuls and Chabad Houses across Paris and its surrounding communities for tefillos, the reading of Megillas Eicha, and the recitation of Kinnos, joining together in mourning the destruction of the Batei Mikdash and praying for the coming of the Geulah Sheleimah.
At Chabad Flandre in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, under the leadership of Rabbi Daniel Gabay and Rabbi Mendel Lubecki, members of the local community gathered for the holy day’s tefillos in an atmosphere of solemn reflection and longing for the rebuilding of the Beis Hamikdash.
On Tisha B’Av night, a special service was held at the Chabad House in Créteil, led by Rabbi Chaim Maaloul, featuring the reading of Megillas Eicha and the recitation of Kinnos.
At Beis Chaya Mushka in Paris, Tisha B’Av services were conducted under the leadership of the Rebbe’s Shliach to France, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Azimov.
Meanwhile, at the Chabad Shul on 17 Rue des Rosiers in Paris, Tisha B’Av services were led by Rabbi Binyamin Engelberg and Rabbi Yosef Margoui, together with Rabbi Eliyahu Edelman, Rabbi Eliezer Arnau, and Rabbi Fredj Zarbiv, with Rabbi Azimov also participating.
