On the final night of Chanukah, thousands gathered at the Kosel to honor the theme of “Redemption and Unity of Israel” amid the ongoing Operation Swords of Iron. Hostages’ families, bereaved families, IDF soldiers, and citizens from across Israel and the world came together for an emotional menorah lighting ceremony • Full Story

Dignitaries in attendance included Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Kalman Bar, Rabbi of the Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, Minister for Social Equality May Golan, and soldiers from the 9206th Battalion who fought on the Gaza and Lebanon frontlines. Families of hostages, including those with loved ones still in captivity, joined the ceremony, praying for their safe return.

“It was moving to see the nation come together to embrace bereaved families, support soldiers, and pray for redemption and peace.”

The evening concluded with heartfelt prayers for Israel’s safety, the hostages’ return, and the healing of the wounded, as the menorah’s flames illuminated a powerful message of resilience and hope.
