The suspects, 21, and 25, residents of Kabatiya and affiliated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization, were intercepted in their vehicle. Security forces found two M16 rifles ready for immediate use, along with bulletproof vests, face masks, and a large cache of ammunition.
Preliminary investigations indicate the pair departed from Jenin and were on their way to execute the planned attack. The investigation is ongoing.
