According to the IDF Spokesperson: “IDF forces neutralized a terrorist a short time ago who threw stones and attempted to stab IDF soldiers near the Gitai Avisar Junction in the Ephraim Brigade sector. There were no injuries.”
Initial reports from the scene indicate that the terrorist threw stones at IDF troops and at Israeli vehicles.
The soldiers, who are permanently stationed at the junction, confronted her and initiated the standard arrest procedure. At that point, she pulled out the knife she had with her, and the troops were forced to open fire and neutralize her.
