    Taking Tefillin To The Streets

    Fifty-five years ago today, on the 24th of Iyar 5727-1967, the Rebbe launched the Tefillin campaign. Some questioned the benefit of putting on tefillin one time with a Jew who is not consistently mitzvah-observant, and bringing this “mivtza” to the streets.
